Sustainable energy services for the built environment
NDM Heath Ltd is an independent sustainable energy consultancy, providing expert and impartial services across the technical, carbon and fuel poverty agendas. Our core service focuses on energy efficiency and renewable energy in the domestic sector, specialising in ‘hard-to-treat’ housing. We have a particular expertise in the issues and solutions for upgrading traditional and historic buildings.
Our services cover all aspects of low-carbon building retrofit, and include sustainability strategies, feasibility studies, planning support, BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment and SAP assessments, energy and CO2 analysis, financial appraisals, research, technical support and guidance, and training. Our approach is grounded in reality: we provide practical, realistic solutions to enable meaningful upgrades in existing, occupied, hard-to-treat buildings – addressing economic, environmental and social sustainability.
Based in Yorkshire, we work across the UK and internationally. Our bespoke approach enables us to tailor our approach to suit client needs. We have experience of working at all levels and provide services to a range of clients including government bodies, local authorities and housing associations, conservation agencies, academic institutions and community groups.
With links to the Sustainable Traditional Buildings Alliance (STBA), Centre of Refurbishment Excellence (CoRE) and Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) we are able to work in partnership with some of the leading bodies in UK traditional building retrofit.
